That is for you, so you taste it; indeed, the disbelievers will have the punishment of Fire!
The disbelievers in Mecca knowingly disagreed with Lord and His Messenger and even expelled Messenger from Mecca as told in verse 8: 30. Moreover, they attacked Messenger and the believers with him who were at Medina. So, Lord Allah punished them with a small group of believers. Whoever disagreed with Lord and His Messenger after receiving Adhikr, he will be defeated in this world itself and will be admitted into Hell in the Hereafter as explained in verse 2: 85.
It is told in verses 48: 24-25: “And it is Lord Who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within the area of Mecca after He caused you to overcome the disbelievers. That is because believing men and women were present there in Mecca. If a battle happens there, the believers should hurt the unknown believing men and believing women who were mingled with the disbelievers; and it will become a crime upon the believers. So, the Three Time Knower Lord avoided killing during Meccan Triumph”.
Shortly, the believers among mankind will be separated into Hijaz to punish the hypocritical men and women as well as Mushrik men and women. Lord’s wrath and curse have happened upon them and Hell is kept prepared for them as told in verse 48: 6. See explanation 2: 62; 7: 127, 137, 168 and 9: 67-68.
